My clients needed to enlarge their elevated Ground Floor apartment within a traditional sandstone villa in the South Side of Glasgow to provide additional space for their grown up family and grandchildren to visit.

Our solution was to add a modest lightweight extension within the void created in the rear elevation by a previous wing addition. This allows the Kitchen to open up into the existing Dining Room, creating a large open plan space which can be used flexibly to accommodate large gatherings within the one room.

Full width glazed sliding doors allow the space to open up to the gardens and make the most of panoramic elevated views across the South of Glasgow.
